What is an LED mask and how does it work?

An LED mask uses LED lights to emit different wavelengths of light to the skin. The light is absorbed by receptors in the skin, just like topical skincare, and each colour of light stimulates a different response within the cells.
What are the benefits of LED masks?

Benefits include enhancing the appearance of skin by reducing the look of fine lines and wrinkles, promoting a calm and balanced complexion, supporting natural collagen levels for a youthful glow, and improving overall skin texture and radiance.
What are the wavelengths of the lights?

Is Near Infrared (NIR) light always on?

No, you can independently control NIR, via the NIR button on the controller, and use it together with any of Red, Blue or Yellow lights.

Please note NIR light is invisible to the eye.
Why are there 3 intensity settings for Red, Blue and Yellow?

The lower intensities allow you to begin your LED therapy journey with a reduced intensity settings. This can help your skin gradually adapt to the light therapy without overwhelming it.
How often should I use the Equinox™ mask?

We recommend three to five 10-minute treatments per week for four to six weeks, followed by maintenance as desired.
How long should I use each color light?

Our recommended daily session time is 10 minutes per session at the highest intensity, in total. You can either choose 1 color treatment or divide this session time between multiple colors. You can gradually increase session time, if you feel the need to.

There are a total of 240 medical-grade LEDs in the Face mask and 240 medical-grade LEDs in the Neck & Chest piece

Are LED masks safe to use on areas other than the face?

Yes, LED masks are very effective in the neck and chest areas which is why we designed Equinox™ to include a neck piece. LED therapy can also be used on other parts of the body for muscle and pain relief.
How often should I use the Equinox™ mask?

Can I use it with other skincare products?

Yes, for best results apply any serums or creams after your mask treatment, as the boost in circulation will enhance absorption.

For best results, we recommend using the wand for 5 minutes per day, 3-4 times a week, for 4-6 weeks. Continue with regular maintenance as needed. Consistent use is key to enhancing the appearance of your skin's texture and tone.

To prepare your skin for the Wand, start with a clean, bare face, and apply a non-oily serum for seamless gliding. For enhanced results, use a conductive hydrating agent, like a serum or moisturizer enriched with hyaluronic acid or aloe vera. These key ingredients not only deeply moisturize but also facilitate the currents' efficacy, aiding in diminishing imperfections for a clearer complexion.
Will I feel the microcurrent or vibration during treatment?

You may feel a gentle sensation from the microcurrent and vibration features, but they are designed to be comfortable and non-invasive.
How do I clean the wand after use?

Simply wipe the head of the wand with a soft, damp cloth after each use. Avoid using harsh chemicals or submerging the device in water.
